Chroniques photographiques

A partnership was set up between the Institut d'art contemporain and the Musée d'Art Moderne Saint-Etienne Métropole at the beginning of the 1980s; this was aimed at forming a collection of photographs that would be a history of photography. This event devoted to photography was organised under the auspices of the Rhône-Alpes Region, with support from the Institut français in Barcelona. It formed part of the 'Semaine Rhône-Alpes en Catalogne' (Rhône-Alpes Week in Catalonia).
