Le (9)BIS Saint-Etienne

Nicolas Tilly was born in 1982 in Saint-Germain-en-Laye (Yvelines) and lives and works in Paris. He graduated from the Ecole régionale des beaux-arts in Valence in 2006 and took a post-graduate diploma course at the Ecole nationale supérieure de création industrielle in Paris in 2007. Since then he has worked on his project La Bête-Monde, a sculpture to which are added little by little maquettes, drawings and videos, becoming an installation in space.

For LE (9) BIS in Saint-Etienne, he chose to assemble some of his recent works and new pieces to show a fossilisation and mutation process with a mineral imprint.
