Between Mayan imagination and contemporary myth,  Naufus Ramirez-Figueroa deploys a unique approach to the world. He works with ephemeral materials: sweets, fruits, earth, fireworks and makes performances that seek to create, through the restrained temporalities of intense aesthetic and psychological experiences. Often softened by an absurd and humorous aspect, the work can hide a tragic content that evokes social injustice.
