Thirty years of history of the Institut d’art contemporain left traces, and not just small ones, as from the 1980s onwards, the Nouveau Musée stood out with its ambitious publication policy. It has accompanied both artists and exhibitions and meetings and theoretical reflection. It has followed the structural evolution of the venue, with publications bearing the imprint Nouveau Musée/Institut and then Institut d’art contemporain which is launching a clearance operation.
A meeting is planned with Jean Louis Maubant and Jean-Claude Conésa, author of about 50 titles mingling writings, artists' books, conference proceedings and catalogues. These works are available at reduced prices throughout the duration of the exhibition Ambition d’art.
