Rosées bleues (détail)

Floating bodies once hung in the Institut d'art contemporain's ceilings, the Rosées bleues achieve their condensation and move to us under gravity. In sleight of hand the work is sampled and reappears in cut-out piece, reduced but oddly enlarged by a reframing choice. 

The scarf even in its fibers echoes the artwork and its support. The painting is reactivated and the waves, originally out of reach, can now bend, touch, tie itself.
