minimal, minimal, 22/05/2025 to 19/07/2025, POUSH, Aubervilliers, France
minimal, minimal, the latest exhibition to be held at La Coupole in Aubervilliers, brings together 24 artists in a sensitive and radical reflection on the stripped-down, the trace and manufactured objects steeped in history. After several exhibitions dealing with essential and necessary subjects, minimal, minimal is an invitation to shift our gaze towards discreet forms and silent gestures, which also bear witness to the world in their own way. Imagined by Yvannoé Kruger, minimal, minimal proposes a dialogue in which simple forms, discreet gestures and familiar materials are invested with a new presence and a particular poetic tension. This is neither homage nor nostalgia, but a strange reminder: something raw, subtle and sometimes melancholy emerges from the artists' economy of means.
