Vir Andres Hera

b. 1990 in Yauhquemehcan, Tlaxcala, Mexico. Lives and works in Aigueblanche, France
The starting point for Vir Andres Hera's work is the convergence of issues relating to immigration, exile, gender identity and multiple cultural affiliations; the artist strives to capture the diversity of these themes. Combining personal narratives and pieces of history, their work brings together words, voices and languages, which they combine with fragmented visual montages and puzzling images, reflecting a plurality of perspectives and realities.
