(PSYCHO)SOMATIC STORIES x EXTÉRIEUR QUEER

| 14:30
→ à l'IAC
As part of Extérieur Queer - the satellite program of the Intérieur Queer festival - echoing the exhibition THE (PSYCHO)SOMATIC ZONE, the IAC brings together performances by Levi van Gelder and a screening of Gut Feelings by Louise Siffert, centered on characters, communities, and narratives that challenge the boundaries of reality. From a prehistoric fan-fiction entrepreneur to giant bacteria in a fermented musical comedy, the works presented explore—with humor and imagination—the power of storytelling to transform identities, bodies, and collective imaginaries.

LEVI VAN GELDER, ALIAS ÖTZA

2:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.

Happiness (At Last) After 5,300 Years of Cryodesiccation
Conference-performance by Ötza

Levi van Gelder is a Dutch artist who embodies Ötza, a drag adaptation of the famous cursed mummy Ötzi. Through this character, they share expertise on a wide range of subjects—from the Neolithic era to modern philosophy—while challenging the narratives that science has constructed around her. In a pirate TEDx-style talk, Ötza, a fan-fiction entrepreneur who has been cryodesiccated for 5,300 years and a proto-micro-influencer, reflects on her personal trials and tribulations. She takes the audience on a journey of self-reinvention while exploring a question as ancient as it is essential: does her cryogenic preservation prevent her from achieving her goals as a fan-fiction entrepreneur?

Chapter 511 (A Last-Minute Change at the World Economic Forum)
Reading by Ötza

At the World Economic Forum in Davos, Ötza is about to participate in a panel discussion where she believed she would occupy a unique position. But upon discovering the other speakers—each more unexpected than the last—her confidence begins to crack, and the situation spirals into a crisis of her role, her identity, and even the stage itself.

LOUISE SIFFERT

3:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Gut Feelings
Screening followed by a conversation with the artist

Gut Feelings is a musical comedy that takes fermentation as its starting point: a non-gendered bacterial life form that evolves autonomously, sustaining itself while nourishing the space around it. Drawing on archives of lesbian and feminist fanzines, voices intertwine, harmonize, and respond to one another. A collective polyphony emerges, in which relationships are built through rhythm and music.
What if our gut instincts had their own soundtrack?
