In the near future, genius designer Allegra Geller (Jennifer Jason Leigh) has invented a new generation of game that connects directly to the nervous system: eXistenZ. During a presentation session, a fanatic tries to kill her. A young marketing trainee, Ted Pikul (Jude Law), saves Allegra's life. A frantic chase ensues in both reality and the game's murky, mysterious universe.
