In October 2024, ADL collaborated with the IAC, Culture pour Tous, and GRAME — the project initiator —t o create a collective sound artwork.
The goal: to (re)discover the streets of Villeurbanne with fresh ears through a journey led by the teams of IAC and GRAME. Guided by composer Anthony Clerc, the group participated in various workshops:
- Sound recording
- Urban exploration
- Writing a narrative
- Sound editing
- Creating electronic circuits
- Metal engraving and sculpting
Participants unveiled their creations in the presence of project partners and representatives from the Lyon Metropolis and the city of Villeurbanne.
To mark this occasion, the Institut d’Art Contemporain is hosting a presentation of these productions from December 4, 2024, to January 5, 2025.
