Inaugurated in the summer of 2023, the summer workshops offer opportunities for meetings and shared experiences centered around artworks and artistic practices. This year, they provide a chance to delve deeper into the themes explored by the exhibition Pratiques cosmomorphes – (Ré)générer le vivant.
SATURDAY, JULY 6 - 2 PM TO 5 PM
→ Workshop with Charwei Tsai
"Ancient Desires - An Offering"
For nearly a year, Charwei Tsai has been engaged in a practice of creating and accumulating ceramic offering vessels with the intention of reflecting on the ecological devastations caused by a profound sense of dissatisfaction. To address this, the artist has developed a practice of making vessels that can hold offerings contributing to collective well-being. Participants are invited to shape several clay vessels alongside the artist and later formulate their own aspirations by choosing the offerings they wish to make.
