Signal Sourd

Angle art contemporain Saint-Paul-Trois-Châteaux — Drôme

Born in 1983 à Valence, where he gained a Diplôme National Supérieur d’Expression Plastique (DNSEP) in 2008 at the l’École Régionale des Beaux-Arts, François Daillant lives and works in Lille and London.

At Angle art contemporain, François Daillant shows series of drawings, sculptures and sound installations that confirm the movement of his work towards the spatialisation of sound and an almost physically rooted tapping of the sounds of the world. Visitors are thus invited to come truly face to face, in a strong physical dimension, with different materials—including sound—that have been subjected to various transfer, inversion or torsion operations that generate heightened and unexpected perception.
